The Assurance of Salvation - The Gift of The Holy Spirit

Message on Romans 5:5 by Pastor Ron Bridge of Rehoboth Baptist Church given on Aug 1, 2010

"Evangelical conservative Christians and particularly those of a somewhat more reformed persuasion spend too little time speaking about and thinking about the Holy Spirit. I think we have a good grasp of the theology and the doctrinal facts. But I do not think that we have a complete understanding in practical and experiential terms of what it means to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit. I think we often lack the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and I want that to change in my life and I want it to change in yours and in the life of this church. Just think for a minute what is being said here. Do we really grasp, really get it, that almighty God lives in me, that almighty God lives in you, permanently, eternally?" -Pastor Bridge
